Google is reportedly set to acquire Canada-based eye-tracking startup AdHawk Microsystems Inc. The deal is said to include $15 million in future payments based on the eye-tracking company reaching performance targets. something that would strengthen the company’s ongoing foray into XR headsets and glasses.

Today at GDC, HTC announced plans to make available a lip-tracking module for the Vive Pro. HTC has revealed very little about the lip-tracking module so far, but we’d venture to guess that it will consist of a camera mounted underneath the Vive Pro visor which faces the user’s mouth.
