Apple Preps Retail Stores for Vision Pro Debut The news comes as Apple started official training and onboarding sessions for retail store workers last month. The training saw Apple experts flying out to stores from its headquarters with Vision Pro devices to train workers in each of Apple’s US stores.
Despite some setbacks during production, Apple is now seemingly ready for its proposed release in the 2024 window, as shown by a recent push by Apple to introduce Vsion Pro training sessions to its retail store workers in the new year. The headset will support two power options: an outlet and an external battery pack.
Apple’s outlined elements help to provide a spatial computing experience for users, including deep considerations for XR space, immersion, passthrough, spatial audio, eyetracking, hand tracking, ergonomics, and accessibility. Additionally, the package includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts that improve clarity.
It’s one of the most powerful devices I’ve ever used, with exceptional multi-tasking capabilities, hand and eye-tracking, and phenomenal visual fidelity. Not only is it better for everyday work (I’ll talk more about this below), but it also features apps for things like surgical training.
Talking about the optics system of the Vision Pro, there are still many unknowns about the ZEISS prescription lenses associated with the device.
