Motion capture If you want a cheap system for motion capture you can use Vive Trackers and full-body VR to record animations of yourself moving. Object Tracking Film production using HTC Vive Trackers to track the cameras (Image by HTC) You can attach a Vive Tracker to an object, to have it reliably tracked for you in VR.

Dubbed Alien: Covenant in Utero , the two-minute VR video experience is now available on Oculus Rift for “Alien Day,” a nod to planet LV-426 from the Alien films. Inspired by a scene in the film, Fox teamed up with FoxNext VR Studio, RSA VR, MPC VR, Mach1 and technology partners AMD RADEON and DELL to bring the piece to life.
