Between that, I worked on consumer cloud software with Google for five years… managing engineering teams for Gmail, Japanese mobile, Google Labs, and social (Blogger etc.) Software-wise, we use Unity, Vuforia, and OpenCV. Google is also a company that is investing a lot in AR and VR (Image by Road To VR).

Image by Google). Google completely opensources Cardboard. With a surprise move, Google has announced with a blog post that it ha opensourced completely Cardboard. Google affirms that Cardboard has been a huge success to introduce people into VR, and more than 15 million headsets have been distributed.

In terms of who’s on the flip side of that marketplace, actually– we’re about to launch our first SDK and that’s– we think of it much more at a Unity level, than necessarily as an Apple or a Google level. And yes, that will work across all of the major platforms. Dominic: Oh, yeah.
