The 2024-25 NBA season is here, and Meta has again partnered with the NBA to bring a fat slate of 180-degree immersivegames to Quest. Now in its fourth consecutive year, Quest users will be able to watch 52 immersivegames in the Xtadium app (US only) and the NBA Arena in Meta Horizon Worlds.

The NBA announced it’s expanding the number of games it’s recording for Quest headsets by a wide margin, bringing a ton of 180-degree immersivegames to NBA League Pass holders. Games on Xtadium have already begun, while games on Horizon Worlds kick off November 17th. Each app has it own perks.

The NBA and TNT are launching a VR experience that is powered by Intel True VR and promises to not only bring fans even closer to the game, but serve as a portal into all available programming through on-demand VR coverage of the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend. Each camera will have at least four angles of the game that you can control.
