The Mixed Reality Toolkit (MRTK) by Microsoft is an open-source toolkit that has been around since the HoloLens was first released in 2016. To me, it seems a choice similar to what Microsoft has done with Hololens 2. It can appeal to enthusiasts and enterprise customers, but not people that just want to play games. We are talking about an evolution of the Vive Pro , a very good evolution: same display resolution, but better lenses, framerate, FOV, and frontal cameras.
