Based in Germany, ThyssenKrupp is a European national conglomerate that just announced a partnership with the Microsoft Hololens. Apple also recently stole some hot talent from Oculus as well as Magic Leap, so it’s only a matter of time before we’ll see a beautifully designed mixed reality product that will take iOS fanboys by storm.

And there are booths of many important companies : Lenovo, Microsoft, HP, Huawei, GoPro, etc… so this event has cool stuff to showcase. Mega-events like the Gamescom in Germany occupy far more floor space. Regarding the event, it seems having its importance here. The pavilions are a few, and so the expo floor is quite big.

The very recent news, that Snap announced at AWE EU, is that Spectacles are also coming to Europe, and to be exact in Germany, France, Spain, Italy (yay!), I would say the glasses have probably more things in common with HoloLens 2 than Magic Leap 2 because of the constrained FOV and the visual artifacts.
