Many game engines – such as Unity, Unreal and SteamVR- immediately support it. If developers use an API from one peripheral vendor, they need to learn a new API for each new device. Some accept a high-end gaming PC, while others prefer inexpensive Android machines. Google Glass has not been as successful as hoped.
