Samsung’s 2023 Unpacked event was all about the company’s Galaxy S23 hardware, although at the end of its hour-long presentation the South Korean tech giant announced it was working with Qualcomm and Google to develop an XR device. Samsung was one of the first truly massive tech companies to develop VR hardware.

As for apps, the AR glasses play bespoke content in pre-defined playspaces, all of which you can download from Google Play, such as Table Trenches , a 1v1 tabletop strategy game. Nreal Light boasts a fairly wide compatibility list, with the following phones offering support: Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G.

The glasses should work with Google Gemini AI and have the following features: Processors : Snapdragon AR1 and NXP Camera : 12MP with Sony IMX681 Battery : 155mAh Weight : 50 grams The first batch of production should be around 500,000 units , with more to come if the glasses prove to be successful.
