In 2017, US Networks partnered with VR app WITHIN to conduct a national simulcast of a 10-minute Mr. Robot VR experience , during which the cast joined in via Google Cardboard headsets. . ( When he graduated, I was moved to Kansas City, which is in the middle of the country, and no offense to anyone who’s listening from Kansas City… but it’s kind of a smaller town and it’s not as big as San Diego where I was living.

The Enterprise Wearable Technology Summit is now the Augmented Enterprise Summit, or AES for short. Big news from past summits include Google expanding support for the second generation of their enterprise-focused AR display and RealWear’s partnership with Zoom. However, they’re back in-person now in San Diego, California.

The NFL and Google announced an expansion of their relationship that will allow fans around the world to see the NFL as never before in virtual reality. Later this year, episodes will also be available via the NFL VR app designed for Daydream, Google’s high-quality mobile VR offering, along with other immersive content experiences.
