Dacuda and ZEISS will be showcasing the world’s first mobile room-scale virtual reality system that uses standard mobile phones on the ZEISS VR One headset. It employs an inside-out tracking system — meaning there is no outside camera that does position tracking.
That headset is the VR ONE Plus, the latest in the line of mobile-based HMDs from Germany-based Carl Zeiss. We’ve already heard about the first Google Daydream ready smartphone, now it’s time for a look at what appears to be the first Daydream headset.
2024 is here, and following my own extensive coverage last year, it seems that certain technology giants are aiming to reinvigorate mainstream XR with a range of new solutions and hardware. By actively educating its employees on the headset, Apple could provide XR education that helps potential buyers adopt the hardware.
Apple is working with ZEISS to bring optional optical inserts to the product, with “Readers” soon available for $99 and prescription standard optics for $149. Apple will start the pricing of the Vision Pro at $3,499 for a model with 256GB of storage.
Apple also highlights how major workplace digital service providers, including Box, Craft, Fantastical, MindNode, Slack, Things 3, Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft 365, are adopting the hardware. Moreover, the package includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts that improve clarity. Apple’s debut device has received massive interest.
Additionally, Apple is working with ZEISS to offer optional optical inserts for the device in a bid to improve accessibility options available alongside current XR devices. Currently, the Vision Pro is only purchasable by US customers, however, Apple is expected to roll out worldwide release windows at its WWDC event later this year.

Additionally, the package includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts that improve clarity. TouchDIVER Pro Haptic Glove to Debut at AWE 2024 WEART is revealing a new haptic glove solution just in time for the Augmented World Expo 2024 (AWE 2024), where the leading haptic hardware vendor will showcase the new device and its enterprise value.
But with Apple taking an incredibly active approach to educating employees on the headset, the firm could promote XR education that helps potential buyers adopt the hardware. A commonplace hurdle many first-time XR users face is a headset’s set-up and onboarding process, which can lead to motion sickness and other difficulties.
Apple has created a brand-new input system for this device and is combining it with state-of-the-art hardware to bring the metaverse to life truly. Under the surface, the Vision Pro is powered by the revolutionary Apple silicon hardware. Is the Apple Vision Pro VR or AR? So, is the Apple Vision Pro VR, AR, or a mixture of both?
As part of its commitment to accessibility, Apple is working with ZEISS to offer optional optical inserts for the device: “Readers” will cost $99, meanwhile prescription standard optics will cost $149. However, Apple is expected to release it worldwide later this year after further announcements at the yearly WWDC event.
These interfaces streamline 3D content creation and delivery by simplifying XR developers’ expectations between iOS, macOS, and visionOS frameworks, pushing Apple’s spatial computing towards a first-party hardware interoperable future. Additionally, the package includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts that improve clarity.
Moreover, AR smart glasses are a popular potential product that provides a more affordable and wearable alternative to bulky head-mounted hardware. The package also includes ZEISS Optical Prescription inserts to improve clarity for those with vision impairments. They have optimised sales numbers reaching vendors.
If you're a developer working on the bleeding edge of augmented reality, or even an enthusiastic smartglasses early adopter, being first in line for new wearable hardware is a priority.
