WebXR is a technology with enormous potential, but at the moment it offers far worse tools to develop for it than standalone VR , where we all use Unity and Unreal Engine. In order for students to think about how to create pieces of music and pieces of software, we enable groups to get together and make music as an ensemble. There’s a lot to learn – you have to learnhow to compose, orchestrate music for an ensemble, interaction design, etc.
