To showcase its functionality, HTC showed some videos of the tracker in use to improve the performances of hands tracking and also with the tracker installed on external props.
The intuitive project was announced at this year’s Microsoft Build Developer Conference which officially kicked-off Wednesday in Seattle. Using Microsoft technology we can now create even more immersive worlds for audiences to explore and enjoy. No word on when you can expect a public release as of yet.
If you've been debating on whether or not HTC'snew virtual reality headset, the Vive, is worth the $800 price tag, then you'll be able to find out for yourself soon enough. They will have 10 retail locations across the US, and Microsoft will add 11 more Microsoft Stores stateside with testing stations toward the end of the month.
