This night I woke up at 3am to participate in HTC Vive’s event on ENGAGE because I read that it was an “HTC VIVE LAUNCH EVENT” and I was super-confident in the launch of the Cosmos XR or at least of the Cosmos Play. Some of these key players, like ENGAGE, are companies in which HTC already invests into.
A new FCC listing appears for an HTC Vive headset. And in fact, a new request to FCC for a new device has arrived from HTC. FCC certifications are requested before releasing an electronic device in the US (to certify that it is safe to be used), so this is a clear sign that HTC is going to release a new headset soon.

Conventional designs like the Oculus Touch, Valve Index, and HTC controllers are manufactured using relatively thin-walled, injection-molded plastic casings, usually split into two halves.
