There’s a lot that can be said about the Magic Leap One. And although its OS and apps don’t fully utilize the tech available to them, Magic Leap One is an ambitious, well-made, but imperfect MR devkit that doesn’t quite live up to the hype, but is still the most complete and affordable mixed-reality (MR) computer out there.

While many other AR glasses (like Nreal Light or HoloLens 2 ) have a Field Of View in the 50° ballpark, RealMax glasses have always had ones above 100° , for a more immersive augmented experience. And after you try it, you can’t go back, because it is SO MUCH immersive, augmented reality really becomes your reality.

Additionally, I would highly recommend buying this head padding kit from Knox Labs as it will dramatically increase comfort as you wear the headset, especially for longer periods of time as you will be immersed within the Triton. Triton works with Leap Motion (now Ultra Leap) hands tracking.

Project North Star is an opensource reference design for a wide-FOV augmented reality headset that Leap Motion (now Ultraleap ) has given to the community. Keep in mind that Magic Leap One has a diagonal FOV of 50° and you realize why the word “only” is between quotes. North Star AR headset.
