If the report were true, this would mean that Apple doesn’t believe in AR anymore and this would be terrible news for all the immersive realities ecosystem. Every year, HTC conducts a big survey on the Chinese VR market and shares the results with the community. This set of experiment is called Steam Labs and will roll out soon.
In my opinion , the true error is with the Vive 1 , that will get a price that is higher than the one of all the competitors… and that will cost as much as a Samsung Odyssey, notwithstanding its far lower features.
