You can finally buy the Leap Motion v2 accessory. The time for us XR developers to buy a Leap Motion 2 has finally come. Leap Motion 1 has been used by almost every developer and researcher , both in VR and not. Yes, the price is higher than the cheap Leap Motion 1, but this is also a far better device.

Indie studio Hyperbolic Magnetism announced ahead of the Sony conference that their VR rhythm game is on its way to PlayStation VR later this year. The game sold over 100,000 copies in its first month of availability on PC VR devices, and is set to launch on Sony’s platform with a new song, and potentially more content.

Sony is reported to launch a mobile VR headset. According to Xperia Blog, Sony is going to launch a mobile VR headset working out of Sony phones. It sounds kinda absurd and it makes me feel like in 2016 again, but there must be a reason if Sony plans to do such a revival. Yes, something like Gear VR, but in 2021.
