The problem with big companies is that they are big and complex machines whose main goal is making money: any promise they make is worth nothing. The first one is that Google and Samsung have shown a better integration of Gemini AI also on Samsung phones. A well-made Quest Pro 2 may find its space in the enterprise sector.

Last month, we got to know that (according to a rumor) Samsung is working together with Microsoft on new AR glasses, most probably powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Samsung has apparently completed a prototype, and “is deciding the release date”.

These are huge numbers for VR: if you look at the most recent SteamVR survey, you get that Oculus headsets are now at 67% of the whole PCVR market. There is instead a rumored partnership with Samsung , where Samsung would actually build a new XR device and Microsoft offer the platform on top of which the headset may run.
