MagicLeap’s computer vision headset is now on sale in cities across the U.S. startup MagicLeap unveiled its long-awaited mixed reality headset, a secretive device five years and $2.44B USD in the making. More experiences are on the way from MagicLeap in-house developers, as well as independent, 3rd party creators.
Facing mixed reviews for the MagicLeap One, MagicLeap has already returned to the lab to improve on the device's successor. MagicLeap says it selected Lausanne because it is a "hub for innovation and forward-thinking technological developments.".
We've spent years waiting to see what all the secretive fuss was about, and now that the device is in our hands, we can finally begin showing you images of what the MagicLeap One experience looks like. This is especially important given the fact that the vast majority of the planet still can't buy one.
