Samsung begins selling the Gear 360 in New Zealand – who’s going to be next? When Samsung first unveiled their Gear 360 camera back in February, I was eager to learn more and compare the camera to other competing consumer 360° models. Back in February, Samsung announced that the Gear 360 would be shipping sometime in Q2 2016.

Most of the European Vive demo locations are concentrated in England, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany, but you’ll still be able to spot a few places in France, and even one in the Czech Republic. More info Google and Samsung are working on smartglasses According to The Information, Google and Samsung are not only working together on a mixed reality headset but also on a pair of smartglasses (a la Ray-Ban Meta) powered by Gemini AI. I cross my fingers, but I don’t have high hopes. A Creator Platform for next-gen to ‘Socialize.’

Anyway, with the end of the life of Quest 2, this cycle finished and a new one started with Quest 3, Apple Vision Pro, Google and Samsung announcing their own headset, and other companies chasing them (e.g. with Xiaomi, Oppo, Samsung, etc…) to convince hardware manufacturers to create headsets powered by Android XR.

Sony has just clarified that VR “games with unlocked framerates or dynamic resolution up to 4K may see higher fidelity” on PS5 , and some games like Blood&Truth and Firewall Zero Hour have been patched to introduce this feature, but it is not enough for the PSVR community. pm: Gijs Den Butter, VR haptics (The Netherlands) 12.30pm?—?1pm:
