Technology That Makes the Unreal Look Real. It combines live-action 3D footage taken using 9K cameras with computer-generated environments using Unreal Engine-based visual effects. They can experience “Enter Thee Hottieverse” in 10 cities in the United States from April to July 2022.
Altogether, GYMNASIA is a six-minute experience that brilliantly fuses 3D 360-degree video, stop motion, miniatures, and computer-generated graphics (CGI), and is the first stop motion VR experience to induce the elusive anxiety that occurs when the lines between “real” and “unreal” are blurred beyond belief.
The character was the your head, while your actual body was in the virtual world, immersing you in Turtles’ iconic NewYorkCity world. A combination of software was used to execute the endeavor, including Adobe Character Animator, Unreal Engine, and NewTeK NDI.
