To promote the pending release of Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 4, Sony Pictures has published a mobile app for iOS and Android that brings Spider-Man into fans' homes via augmented reality. Fans of the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man have yet another way to experience the web-slinger in augmented reality.
The technology sounds eerily similar to Sony’s PlayLink , a multiplayer game service for the PlayStation 4 that allows players to engage in a variety of quizzes and immersive games using compatible smartphones and tablets.
