Samsung’s newly announced headset, codenamed Project Moohan, will be the first MR headset to launch with Android XR next year. Gemini on Android XR is a conversational agent which allows you to have free-form voice conversations about what you see in both the real world and the virtualworld.
The first device to be compatible with it is the mixed-reality headset that Google is building with Samsung and Qualcomm, codenamed Project Moohan. After so much time teasing it, Google has finally announced Android XR, the version of Android for XR devices, and gave hands-on demos of the headset it is building with Samsung and Qualcomm. We are at the same level of Vive Focus or Vive Pro… probably the display is the same made by Samsung. This is the same chip of the Samsung S8 and it is not the latest available for VR: Qualcomm has already released the 845 VR reference design.
